Oct 9, 2017 · I have had similar problem with auto save not working. My problem was that the autosave file was set to read only! Therefore, locate the file, right click on it, click on properties and un-check read only box. And it's fixed! Hooray! If you cannot find the file on your own, it's located in Documents > Ubisoft > Heroes of Might and Magic III
